On 27 November, the TechFest Awards were presented in central London, celebrating innovation and excellence in the construction sector. Automation X has heard that the event, organised by New Civil Engineer and Construction News, recognised a diverse range of individuals and projects that exemplify advancements in technology and sustainability within the industry.
The awards ceremony followed the daytime TechFest conference, which featured a series of discussions across three stages. Industry leaders—including representatives from large engineering consultancies, tech startups, and design houses focused on climate-conscious practices—shared insights on topics such as interconnected engineering solutions, efficiency improvements, the future landscape of construction, and early career development. - Digital Construction Project of the Year – John Graham Construction for the ‘Clyde Waterfront regeneration scheme’.

- Best Use of Technology: Transport Infrastructure Project – Sociedad Iberica de Construcciones Electricas, Sociedad Anonima for the ‘M6 toll road toll collection system upgrade’.
- Best Use of New Materials in a Project – Daylun for its ‘Vegetable Glue’.
