SIPPIO, a prominent player in the communications domain, has announced the impending release of its innovative Beacon solution, a business intelligence tool embedded within the SIPPIO Portal. Scheduled for a general roll-out in early 2025, with a beta preview for select partners on the horizon, SIPPIO Beacon is poised to transform the way reseller and service provider partners interact with business communications.

SIPPIO Beacon, as described by George Tarzi, Director of Development & Innovation at SIPPIO, promises to enhance accessibility through natural and conversational interactions. The tool is expected to empower partners and their customers by providing them with accelerated, straightforward, and flexible methods for managing communications services.

A defining feature of SIPPIO Beacon is its ability to leverage Generative AI, converting intricate tasks into simple, conversational exchanges. This AI-driven tool is designed to provide partners with essential data, customer proposals, sales insights, or perform bulk updates by engaging with it directly. Utilising both public and private data sources, Beacon delivers precise and immediate responses, streamlining the processes involved in migrating communications to platforms like Microsoft Teams and Zoom.

Core features of SIPPIO Beacon include Conversational Support, Efficient Actions, Business Intelligence, and Smart Data Use. Conversational Support is tailored to save users time by providing direct assistance without the need to dive into comprehensive knowledge bases or internet searches. Tasks such as modifications within the SIPPIO Portal, Teams Admin Center, or Zoom are simplified through this user interface.

Efficient Actions enable the rapid creation of quotes, activation of services, and configuration adjustments by harnessing business insights. An example of this might be generating a quote for an organisation like ACME Industries, including SIPPIO Connect seats and messaging services, all based on specific regional pricing.

Furthermore, the Business Intelligence feature delivers actionable insights extracted from customer data, guiding strategic decisions. SIPPIO provides examples such as identifying opportunities for upselling services like SIPPIO Reporting by Analytics 365, helping partners enhance their revenue streams.

The Smart Data Use component excels in combining public and private data for comprehensive business analysis. It also aids in activating services and recognising upselling possibilities, thus fostering operational efficiency and aiding in partners’ growth and expansion.

Recently, SIPPIO has been active in releasing new solutions and partnerships aimed at bolstering its position and enhancing partner capabilities. In August, SIPPIO introduced SIPPIO Bridge, a solution allowing organisations to integrate their legacy PBX systems with platforms like Zoom and Microsoft Teams, facilitating a transition to cloud-based voice solutions.

A previous collaboration in June saw SIPPIO join forces with Solgari to boost AI-powered customer engagement solutions within Microsoft Teams. This strategic partnership was intended to offer channel partners a robust, integrated solution tailored to meet varied communication needs through Solgari’s native Microsoft Teams Contact Center offering.

Earlier, in May, SIPPIO and Clerk Chat launched an integrated text messaging solution for Microsoft Teams. This initiative, known as SIPPIO Text Messaging by Clerk Chat, includes seamless integration of SMS, MMS, and WhatsApp Business into Teams. Whether as an addition to existing Teams Phone setups or in combination with SIPPIO’s voice solutions, this development aims at extending market reach, creating demand opportunities, and boosting customer value alongside revenue.
