onsemi has entered into a significant agreement to acquire the Silicon Carbide Junction Field-Effect Transistor (SiC JFET) technology business, including its subsidiary United Silicon Carbide, from Qorvo for a total of $115 million in cash. The completion of this deal is contingent upon standard closing conditions, with expectations to finalise the acquisition by the first quarter of 2025.
