Information Services Group (ISG) unveils a plan for 2025 to publish around 200 studies assessing service providers and software platforms, highlighting the transformative role of artificial intelligence in enterprise technology.

Information Services Group (ISG), a prominent global technology research and advisory firm, has announced an ambitious plan for 2025 that will see the publication of approximately 200 studies aimed at evaluating service providers and software platforms. This initiative aims to place significant emphasis on the transformative role of artificial intelligence (AI) in enterprise technology. The new research plan will be embodied in the ISG Provider Lens™ and ISG Buyers Guide™ reports, which will help businesses navigate the complexities of digital transformation fuelled by AI advancements.

As organisations continue to grapple with digital transformation in an increasingly AI-centric environment, they are faced with a plethora of choices and complexities. John Boccuzzi, Jr., a partner and president at ISG Research, highlighted that as AI technologies reach unprecedented levels of capability, businesses are actively seeking new partnerships with vendors and service providers to meet key objectives and drive competitive advantage.

The strategic plan consolidates ISG’s Provider Lens service provider evaluations with Buyers Guide software assessments, aiming to provide a comprehensive overview of the critical software tools and managed services that are shaping modern enterprises. The 2025 research agenda will include 50 ISG Provider Lens studies and more than 135 ISG Buyers Guides, exploring pivotal new themes including revenue lifecycle management, sovereign cloud, and real-time data, among others.

The Vendor Lens studies will expand into new vertical industries such as aerospace and defence, agribusiness, medical devices, and the public sector, addressing the specific technology and business challenges unique to these segments. Additionally, new reports will also examine the evolving VMware ecosystem and services available for global capability centres (GCCs), which have become essential engines for digital transformation in many firms.
