This method appears to exploit a quirk in Google’s algorithm rather than being an intentional feature and remains a reliable tactic for users preferring traditional search results.

Additionally, Google has introduced a “Web” tab filter, which allows users to revert to conventional search results. Selecting this filter removes the AI Overview panel; however, it does not persist as a default setting and must be manually selected with each search. The Web filter limits results to web links only, excluding multimedia previews such as YouTube videos and other search snippets.
