Digichief has announced a significant collaboration with STREAM to expand its digital signage content offerings, introducing AI-driven video feeds tailored to diverse client interests.

Digichief, a well-established provider of subscription content, has announced a significant partnership with the start-up company STREAM to enhance its digital signage content offerings. This partnership involves the distribution of STREAM’s AI-driven, broadcast-like video feeds, specifically designed to cater to varied client interests.

The announcement was made on 7th November 2024, detailing the agreement which brings STREAM’s innovative plug-and-play video feeds into Digichief’s content library. Gene Hamm, the Founder and Content Strategist at Digichief, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, highlighting the value it adds by offering curated, vertical-specific news and information. Hamm emphasized that the partnership is a notable advancement for audiences who prefer digital content over traditional linear TV.

STREAM, co-founded by Anthony Nerantzis, specialises in creating content that mimics traditional cable TV news channels. Their offerings are distinguished by interest-specific channels, such as Med One, Dentistry Today, and Auto One:

  • Med One is a healthcare infotainment channel aimed at enhancing patient experiences through engaging health insights.
  • Dentistry Today focuses on dental health, providing oral health tips and informative content designed to make waiting times feel shorter.
  • Auto One caters to automotive enthusiasts, featuring car care tips and industry trends suitable for dealerships and service centres.

The channels utilise AI technology to blend on-screen headlines, visuals, and graphics with video-captured announcers. The AI-generated content is crafted to be indistinguishable from traditional human-produced segments, delivering seamless and professional video feeds.

The partnership also provides Digichief’s customers with exclusive benefits including access to advanced features and preferred pricing on STREAM’s comprehensive suite of plug-and-play and branded content solutions. This integration is set to significantly enhance the content available to the digital signage community, making it more accessible and cost-effective.

Anthony Nerantzis, STREAM’s Co-Founder and CEO, acknowledged the simplicity this partnership introduces to accessing STREAM’s content. In a podcast discussion held in August, Nerantzis explained that STREAM’s use of revolutionary AI augmentation not only accelerates their production process but also helps manage costs, resulting in affordable content for clients.

This collaboration indicates a forward-thinking approach by both companies to deliver diverse and engaging content through digital signage, appealing to various interest groups and enhancing viewer engagement across different sectors.
