Amazon has unveiled a significant update to its Kindle series for 2024, introducing the Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition with a colour display, along with refreshed versions of its popular models.

The Kindle Scribe is also receiving an update. Joining the lineup is the Kindle Paperwhite 6, marketed as the fastest Kindle yet, with a 25% increase in page turn speed. It features a larger 7-inch display in a slimmer profile, offers a three-month battery life, and is water-resistant. Available now, the standard model with 16GB of storage is priced at $159.99, while the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition with 32GB and additional features retails for $199.99.
Finally, the entry-level Kindle has been updated to its 12th generation, featuring a 300ppi non-reflective screen, faster page turns, and 16GB of storage, all while maintaining a lightweight design. This model is available for $109.99.
Amazon’s vice president of Devices International, Eric Saarnio, expressed enthusiasm about the new lineup, highlighting a rise in global Kindle sales, which reached their highest level in a decade last year.
